This is just a quick post that:
Susan Wood has resigned from being the presenter of Close Up effective immediately.
She has a lump on her neck and wishes to spend more time on her health and her family.
Mark Sainsbury and Paul Henry will cover the position until a replacement is found.

That's sad. I like Susan... And always interesting to see there are things more important spending time on than fame and fortune.
Good riddance, maybe TVNZ can find a replacement with some backbone when interviewing people. A Kiwi Paxman if you will.
I just find it amazing that there was so little reaction to Paul Holmes being a part of the National campaign while still a broadcaster.
Journalism and politics should be separate professions.
